LEXINGTON -- Byron Minard, who had been ill with consumption the past year, died Saturday at 1:30 p.m.  Byron Minard was born in Brown Twp., Knox Co., Ohio, Aug. 5, 1869.  He was converted when 14 years of age and joined the Methodist Protestant Church, in which he lived a faithful member until the fall of '89 when he came to Richland County.  He united with the Presbyterian Church in the '92.  He was married to Miss Cora Kyner, Jan. 25, 1893.  He was a kind, loving husband and an earnest Christian until he was called from the church militant to the church triumphant.  During his entire illness of nearly 16 months he was ever cheerful, patient and happy.  He leaves a kind and affectionate wife, father, mother, three brothers, two sisters, and many kind friends to mourn his loss.
